‘Continuing Education’ a Way of Life

COMMUNIVERSITY, OLLI OFFER VIBRANT LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
|
Our students will soon return to our various campuses and online platforms to begin the 2022-23 academic year. And while earning their degrees is their more immediate goal, as alumni we realize that college is just one stage of lifelong learning. For the eternally curious, the quest for greater knowledge and understanding never ends. Two UC continuing education programs have long been helping to satisfy that hunger; each offers a selection of virtual classes to broaden their appeal.
- For more than 70 years, Communiversity has been offering non-degree classes that cover a wide range of subjects — technology and the arts, fitness and sports, home and hobbies, current events and practical skills, and much more. Local experts provide the instruction to students ranging from young alumni to our more “senior Bearcats.”
- Aimed specifically at those 50 and older, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) features hundreds of daytime courses for personal enrichment presented by volunteer moderators and passionate hobbyists from many fields. OLLI offers a rich assortment of learning and social experiences covering a vast array of topics.
When you chose to attend UC, you got an education partner for life. We invite you to explore this pair of vibrant learning communities for yourself or family members and friends.
