With our future coming into focus, we have been presented with a unique opportunity during this 2022 postseason that all Bearcats can rally around.
Cincinnati will meet long-time rival Louisville on Saturday, Dec. 17 in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl. Another 10-win season is at stake — as well as the Keg of Nails — when the Bearcats take on the Cardinals in the first-ever college bowl game in historic Fenway Park and the first Division I bowl game in New England. Your UC Alumni Association is planning activities for alumni and friends who will be traveling to support the team and enjoy the occasion.
As the past 20 years have shown, no UC activity is quite like attending a bowl game. There’s just something about alumni and fans coming in from all over, uniting as one happy family, doing “Down the Drive” in new places, making new Bearcat connections and memories, and cheering on our team together. To do so this month in Boston against an archrival is a great way to help usher in a new era for UC Football. For our Bearcats faithful, we continue to support our student-athletes and Interim Coach Kerry Coombs who has done so much for the program, and we’re excited about the future with new Coach Scott Satterfield.
I hope to see you there — but if you can’t make it to Boston, check to see if there will be a Wasabi Fenway Bowl game watch near you.
Happy Holidays — and Go Bearcats!
