With an innovative and constantly evolving approach to fulfilling its educational mission, the University of Cincinnati is focused on “Next” — preparing its students and leveraging its resources toward bending the future. It’s a compelling promise, and the great success of our alumni is the proof behind it.
That’s why we’re about to host this year’s edition of UC Alumni Week, running April 15-22 with a variety of activities that recognize the central role played by our alumni. UC’s more than two centuries of history are brimming with Bearcats who have shaped the world, and each new contribution they make further proves the promise. Through their achievements, they are Boldly Defining Next.
Eighteen such alumni will receive special recognition next week during our annual UC Alumni Celebration, including their depiction within Cincinnati’s newest community art project — a huge mural nearing completion in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood honoring these great Bearcats. Alumni Week also features UC Day of Giving on April 18-19, when everyone in the UC family is encouraged to support the specific UC cause(s) they’re most passionate about. Such investment in our people and collective future helps ensure UC’s ongoing excellence.
On behalf of the UC Alumni Association, thank you for your devotion and commitment to strengthening our alma mater, and for being such a vital part of the evolving UC story.
Go Bearcats!
